Little Miss Sofia, a fellow Virgo with the bluest of eyes, celebrated her first birthday on September 12th. Her very sweet and very laid back mama booked a portrait session for this morning, and we spent a wonderfully easy hour at the Arboretum. Literally on the verge of walking, Sofia was an angel as we explored the grounds. The Arboretum, in fact, is a very special place for Sofia and her family, as her parents were married in the Little Girl's Garden. Sofia loved the statue of the girls, and we were able to capture some very sweet shots in the very spot her mama and daddy said "I do." Sofia and Cathie were so very agreeable and made the morning so easy. I am eagerly looking forward to the entire family's portraits in November, when I can meet Daddy and big sister Celia. Thanks, Cathie, for a fun morning, and kisses to your baby girl!
