Sweet baby Brooke. She'll soon be 8 months , and she and her equally sweet parents came out to see me this weekend. Not sure if it was the fact that Brooke would be my last studio session before the move (more on that later, dear reader), or the fact that she was just so darn sweet, but this was such an amazing session! Suzanne described her and the hubs as conservative, so we kept the pictures simple (although they did indulge me by allowing their baby girl to wear my pink headband). Which really allowed this beautiful babe to shine. We only had two outfit changes, which allowed more time for me to interact with Brooke. At one point I was being silly behind the lens, and she must have grown tired of my silly noises and sounds. Because a second later she lifted her dress over her head and started playing peek-a-boo with me. Suzanne, Cory and I laughed out loud by the spontaneous moment, and Brooke could not have been prouder of herself! The sweetest moment from the session was when Suzanne took off the necklace she was wearing (that had been given to her by Cory on their wedding day) and handed it to her daughter. Suzanne wanted some shots of her first born with the necklace, and Brooke's reaction was priceless. She stared at it in her little hands for a few seconds and then flashed the biggest smile imaginable. Her little face had the expression of, "I can't believe I'm really playing with it!" She obviously knew how special it was, which made the moment that much more. I had so much fun with this little girl, literally on the verge of crawling, and I am so excited to see her again in July for her One Year session! Can't wait to see what games she'll think of to make me laugh, and I can't wait to once again hang out with this family of three. Suzanne, it was so great meeting you. I am in love with your daughter, and enjoy your sneak!
