suzi & co.

I know the old adage says something about fathers knowing best. Well, in the case of where to shoot Graham's one year portraits, mommy knew better. Suzi wanted to make sure Graham was at ease and at his happiest, so she chose a place that has become very special to her little boy. The arboretum proved to be a fantastic background for capturing the loveli-(and silli-)-ness of this family. Graham was able to splash in his favorite fountain, impressively climb a few different sets of steps, steal snuggles from both his parents and pretty much crawl wherever his little hands and knees would take him (and for a second we thought he was going to stand up on his own!). Suzi had taken the time earlier in the week to scope out some favorite areas of the garden, and I don't think she could have done a better job. I am not sure who was more patient, Chris or Graham, as we traipsed about the grounds, and I truly appreciated the easy going personalities of this trio (as well as Chris' one liners). Suzi, I had so much fun with you and your boys; thanks so much for letting me capture some sweet moments from this morning. Enjoy!
